Close Up’s educator conferences bring together teachers and administrators from all corners of the United States to engage in professional development built on our 50+ years of experience in fostering dialogue across differences. Educators take part in workshops to build the skills of facilitation and deliberation, observe their students in action, and develop and practice strategies to bring the work of civil discourse back to their classrooms.
