Who are Close Up Civic Ambassadors?

Civic Ambassadors are students in grades 7-12 who are excited about making a positive impact in their schools and communities. To participate, you can be nominated by your teacher or by Close Up program staff, or you can simply apply on your own

Once enrolled, all you need to do is complete one civic engagement activity to earn the Civic Ambassador Badge—or, continue on to complete three activities to earn the Advanced Civic Ambassador Badge. Close Up will provide you with a library of activities to choose from, as well as invitations to webinars, panels, and other events for young leaders. Submit photos from your activities and a short reflection, and we’ll send you your digital badge to include on your LinkedIn profile, resume, and applications!
