2025 Presidential Inauguration

Witness history in the making!

Be a part of America’s most important tradition!

Every four years, the eyes of the nation turn to Washington, DC, for the inauguration of America’s president. It’s a momentous week of sacred traditions and unmatched pageantry—and one that Close Up has helped thousands of students experience.

Our enormously popular Presidential Inauguration High School Program is so much more than an in-and-out tour. This seven-day, six-night program fully immerses students in the inaugural rituals and celebrations, giving them a comprehensive, in-depth experience. Guided by our highly trained program instructors, students take part in exciting seminars with DC insiders, explore iconic memorials and museums, and walk the halls of Capitol Hill—all with the backdrop of a presidential inauguration!

Our 2025 Presidential Inauguration trip gives students the chance to:

  • Participate in pre-inauguration events on the National Mall;
  • Witness the president’s oath of office and inaugural address;
  • Meet peers from communities nationwide and celebrate with them at an exclusive Close Up Inaugural Ball;
  • Move around the city with ease; and
  • Experience our nation’s most storied festivities in a safe, educational, all-inclusive environment!
