About the Scholarship
Since 2015, the Claude Pepper Foundation has provided support to the Close Up Foundation for scholarships. These scholarships provide access to meaningful civic education opportunities and help ensure that students from all backgrounds, including those from economically disadvantaged and underrepresented communities, can participate in Close Up programs. We are excited to open this year’s application for students interested in participating in Close Up during the 2022-23 academic year. Students who are awarded scholarships will be identified as 2022-23 Claude Pepper Scholars and will receive a scholarship up to $1,500.
Interested students should be excited to learn more about government, politics, and public policy and demonstrate active involvement in their school or community.
