Examine the relationship between Tribal Nations and the federal government.
During this seven-day/six-night program, students from USET Member Tribal Nations examine self-determination in Indian Country, the responsibilities of citizenship, and the contemporary impact of unfulfilled trust and treaty obligations. While visiting national institutions in Washington, D.C., and engaging with Tribal Leaders and the USET Council, students deepen their insight into Tribal sovereignty and Indigenous agency.
