2026 Civil Discourse Lab - Close Up Foundation

Please complete the form below to pre-register for the Close Up Civil Discourse Lab. Each participating adult must complete the form. The conference fee is $1495 per person. Hotel accommodations (at the conference hotel) are available for July 8 and 9 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott and can be booked through Close Up for an additional fee of $250 per night ($500 total). Upon completion of the form, we will follow up via email with enrollment and payment instructions. Please be on the lookout for that email from programsupport@closeup.org.

We encourage schools to attend as teams of educators, with each team made up of administrators (heads of school, principals, division leaders, or other administrators) and classroom teachers (especially those who teach government, history, social studies, humanities, or English). The tracks will overlap at times, giving school teams opportunities to work together.
