Close Up Foundation Scholarship Application
In partnership with the Community Foundation of Broward, Close Up Foundation is providing 30 high school students who participated in the Broward County Rally to the Tally experience the opportunity to participate in the Close Up Washington Program, May 18-23, 2025. Students who are accepted will travel to Washington, D.C. and spend six days and five nights conducting study visits throughout the nation's capital, participating in discussions alongside peers from around the country, and debating pressing issues facing our nation in a mock congress with students nationwide. Accepted students will be sponsored by the Community Foundation of Broward to attend the Close Up Washington Program.
Eligibility:
You must be a current high school student who participated in Close Up’s Rally to the Tally, and who is interested in government or public policy. To be considered for the scholarship, applications and
teacher recommendations
must be completed by March 3, 2025. If accepted, you agree to pay a
$100 nonrefundable deposit
