Impacting Students and Teachers Nationwide

Partners since 2020, Close Up’s work with the National Network of Schools in Partnership (NNSP) brings together two organizations with a shared commitment to civics and community engagement. Since piloting our first partnership program, Close Up and NNSP have worked together to reach students and teachers nationwide through a variety of Impact programming. Looking ahead, Close Up and NNSP will continue to collaborate closely on developing and delivering student programs, curriculum, and professional development for educators, honoring the missions of both organizations.

Are you attending the 2023 National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Annual Conference in Las Vegas? Join Close Up CEO Eric Adydan and NNSP Executive Director Blake Kohn for a drink and a celebration of your work creating civic and community engagement opportunities!

March 8, 2023: Free Live Webinar on Climate Change & Environmental Policy

Close Up and Earth Force will co-host a panel discussion about community resilience to environmental disasters and climate change. Students and teachers will consider how communities should plan for and respond to threats such as wildfires, earthquakes, and other extreme weather events, and will evaluate the role of federal, state, and local governments as well as the role of nonprofits and private industry in creating more prepared and resilient communities. After the webinar, high school students are invited to take part in a reflection on the ideas and proposals presented.

July 22-29, 2023: Close Up & NNSP National Youth Impact Summit in Washington, DC

High schoolers nationwide will come together to work in teams, create meaningful solutions to community issues, and present policy proposals to decision-makers on Capitol Hill.
