Safety and Security

The safety and security of our participants is our #1 priority. In fact, it drives everything we do. From our selection of vendors, to hotel and airline partners, to the quality of our instructors — we strive to ensure every participant has a safe and enjoyable experience with us.

For us, preparation for your trip starts a year in advance. We negotiate with quality vendors, hire and train instructors, and develop a curriculum that allows participants access to the best Washington has to offer without compromising safety.

During program, participants are supervised by our team of instructors and their teachers. All of our instructors are trained in First Aid and CPR/AED, hall monitors and resident counselors are stationed at every hotel, and an ER-trained nurse is available 24-7. Plus, through a cutting-edge partnership with George Washington University Hospital, participants have access to the city’s best medical care.

We also monitor security conditions in the city. Our history in D.C. gives us access to the city’s premiere security alert network, allowing relevant news alerts and instructions to immediately be communicated to our instructors— all of whom are trained to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
