MEDIA - THE FOURTH BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT
Join us for this in-depth look into the role that the media plays in developing in influencing public policy. This program will not only investigate the coverage of the State of the Union by various news outlets, it will also include seminars with DC-based media experts and components filled with discussion and debate on the First Amendment. The media program culminates with a visit to the Newseum – Washington’s interactive museum of current events, news, and journalism.
