U.S. IN THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY

Reprising our popular USGC program, this one-of-a–kind program focuses on international relations, conflicts in the global community, the role of the United Nations, and the United States’ place in the world. This SFP includes seminars on the role that the UN and other NGOs play in foreign policy development and policing as well as components designed to discuss global trade, environmental, and security issues. The highlight of the program is our mock international policy simulation in which each student gains a better understanding of the struggle many countries face in balancing national interests with regional and international concerns. By representing a particular country, students will experience foreign policy dilemmas first-hand.
