Teaching at Close Up
Close Up is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, with no affiliation to any branch of government, political party, or interest group. It is the duty of the program instructor to help students think critically about issues by presenting them in an unbiased, multi-partisan manner. We believe all students should explore different viewpoints, challenge assumptions, and clarify their convictions on a variety of issues. To this end we strive to teach students how to think, not what to think.
